Henro guide by Mr. Alain Thierion (France) in French and English. It includes basic and practical information such as how to reach Shikoku after landing at Kansai Airport, reading Japanese maps, behaviors at temples and accommodations, taking bath, etc.
- Echoes of Incense
Don Weiss walked Shikoku Henro in the winter and spring of 1993. He wrote "Echoes of Incense" to record what he experienced. The book has been sold in America and Japan but it will soon be out of print. You can now read it on the WWW. Other resources for English speakers are also included.

- Shikoku Pilgrimage
David L. Turkington walked Shikoku Henro from March to May in 1999. He uploaded his diary every two or three days during the travel. Other resources for English speakers are also included on the site as well as study on cultural and historical aspect of Henro. Tutorial for English speakers is also included. He walked Tokushima Prefecture in April, 2005 as the first part of his second henro pilgrimage, and Kochi Prefecture in March-April, 2006.
1999年3月〜5月に歩き遍路を敢行した、シカゴ在住のソフト技術者David L. Turkington (デービッド・ターキントン)さんのホームページです。弘法大師や四国遍路の解説のほか、遍路の日程表などが掲載されています。リアルタイムに掲載してきた日記は迫力満点。『四国遍路ひとり歩き同行二人』の地図の見方の解説など、歩き遍路に取り組む外国人向けの情報も充実しています。2005年4月には2巡目を区切り打ちで始め、徳島県内を歩かれました。2006年春には約2週間かけて高知県内を歩かれました。
- My Diary of Pilgrimage in Shikoku Island (Small Occurences at My Home)
The author retired on September 30, 2002. After warming up himself in the moutains carrying a backpack of 10 kilograms, he began his pilgrimage, and completed it for 40 days. The diary is written in Japanese and English in parallel.
2002年9月30日に定年退職し、六甲山系/丹生山系で10Kgのリュックサックを担いで体のトレーニングをして、10月21日から若いときからの念願であった四国遍路に出て、約40日の通し打ちをされました。2003年2月末に、全行程の日記掲載が完了しました。日英対訳になっているのがユニークです。
